CodeBrix Tunnel

Your localhost, on a real URL.

Run one command and the app on your machine is live at https://you.acme.codebrix.dev, with a real certificate. Every port works, logins work, and you can watch every request as it happens.

$ grok start bob
● online https://bob.acme.codebrix.dev → localhost:3000
          https://bob.acme.codebrix.dev:5173 → localhost:5173
          bob.acme.codebrix.dev:40012 → localhost:22 (tcp)
inspect http://127.0.0.1:4040

GET /api/orders 200 34 ms
POST /webhooks/stripe 200 12 ms
GET /auth/callback 302 8 ms

Your own name

Each tunnel gets a name in your space, like bob.acme.codebrix.dev. Same address every time, so webhooks and links keep working.

Every port

:5173 on the tunnel reaches localhost:5173. Any port above 1000, nothing to configure.

One OAuth callback

Register one redirect URL with Google, GitHub or Okta. Each login goes back to whoever started it.

Live inspector

See and replay every request at 127.0.0.1:4040, with JWTs decoded in place.

TCP and UDP

SSH, databases and game servers get their own stable public port.

Private by default

Only your machine can reach your tunnel until you open it up, all of it or just /webhooks/*.

Get started

  1. Install the CLI for Windows, macOS or Linux. It updates itself.
  2. Add your tunnel to ~/.grok/grok.yml.
  3. Run grok start bob and share the URL.
~/.grok/grok.yml
server: https://codebrix.dev
authtoken: <your token>

tunnels:
  bob:
    addr: 3000

CodeBrix Tunnel is in private beta and free while it lasts. Sign-up is coming soon.
